Community engagement

Chelsea Manor Street – Creativity, Community and Consultation

The King’s Road has always been at the epicentre of London’s art, fashion, design and music scene. We want to encourage and strengthen this further and have engaged with the local community to gather their views.

The development of The Gaumont building has enabled the creation of four fantastic units facing onto Chelsea Manor Street and the opportunity to create a cluster of uses that encourages Chelsea’s independent, creative spirit for the benefit and enjoyment of the whole community.

This opportunity follows a local consultation in 2015, which led to the creation of Pavilion Road as an artisan food ‘village’ with extensive outdoor seating and full pedestrianisation.
